Some of the things he said was plain ignorance. Remember seeing a program when he was saying there were no pakis on D-day. Clearly forgetting about the hundred of thousand of Indians fighting in Burma.

I just think he thought like the majority of the old school. A racist im not sure, ignorant yes. After all a comedian is just an observer, and some of his jokes about Bradford (where im from) had me in stitches.

He was a legend from another era back before being PC spoiled the outrageous humor

at least some of his stuff will be on TV in the next week hehe.

Erm, Burma isn't in Normandy, and Pakistan didn't exist in 1944.
