Bernard Manning has kicked the bucket

R.I.P Bernard.

Went to see him at the Commodore club in Nottingham in the late 80's - my face hurt i was laughing that much.

And to be fair, the table next to us was full of black guys and they were crying with laughter too and they got a LOT of stick.

Good on em i say for not taking his line of comedy too seriously.

he wasnt everyones cup of tea so to speak but you got what u saw when he was on stage, went to see him once @ normanton with a few friends he ripped the carp out of my m8 for going for a packet of crisps while he was on stage hehe the whole place was in stitches was nothing but quality (provided u like that kind of humour) from the start of the show to the end.

At least the fat **** wont have to die on stage any more. See what I did?

what you did? as in not make sense?
it's common knowledge what type of comedy Manning delivered, therefore tickets for his shows were bought by people who liked that style and content.
i've certainly never heard of him "dying" on stage.

His choice of topics never bothered me, but his sheer arrogance did.

What?

He might have claimed to not be racist, but he never did anything to help race relations. After seeing him on Mrs Merton my opinion of him was strengthened. I wont miss him so no RIP from me.
