Best 120mm fan?

I love it when people say they dont mind noise and get some Delta's, makes me crack up, i wouldnt belive the noise if i hadnt have had the same opinion and got 2 myself;P

Seriously, if these are going to be in the same room as you and on for long periods of time consider rethinking.

Deltas are ridiculous and i dont believe that anyone can put up with one without a fuss, maybe if ** wearing headphones or somming but i could still hear my 60mm delta over mine.

Watercooling is where its at! :D

OMFG! just looked at its spec, 60 decibels aint to be laughed at. Probly as loud as a dyson. Aparently even the motor at 5 volts makes a racket.

had one of these in a shuttle at one point :)

my god the noise!!!!! but kept my cpu at 25 degrees constantly lol

i did make a fan controller to switch it between 5v and 12v that worked a treat. on 5v it was probs just as loud as a standard quieter 50 - 70cfm 120mm fan on 12v. definatly not for the feint of heart :)

I've got two YS-TECH FD1225 120mm Fan - 4 Pin (FG-003-YS) with a fan controller. If you set them to low they produce 19dB with about 60cfm...but when you're gaming I can run them at 40dB producing 120cfm.

When you put them inside the case it drops them to 33dB. So in all best of both worls really, quiet when you're at idle and then the power to cool when gaming.
