Best £150 Tablet?

Hello,

I'm looking for a couple of tablets for a 5 and 10 year old (Xmas)...I have a Nvidia Shield K1 and was thinking this would be a good option, but as this is comparatively "old" something might have surpassed it in the value range recently, anything beat it for the same money?

Advice appreciated...

I would say the shield tablet is still the best around for that price range (If you can still find any). For something cheaper, yet still capable, the Nexus 7 2013 is a decent choice. Yes, it was released 3 years ago, but for £130 for the 32GB one, you can't go wrong and would suit the needs of your kids in all honesty (asuming we are talking about games/youtube videos).

I was thinking something along these lines myself, I haven't had a tablet for a while and don't really need an all singing all dancing one as I have an S6 Edge+ but was thinking of buying at £150-£200 tablet and then flashing stock android onto it, it's usually done the trick with ageing devices in the past.
