Hi,

I have never used a M.2 drive before so if someone could be kind enough to help.

As in the title what would be the best 1T M.2 Boot drive for an Asus ROG Maximus Z690 Extreme - Intel Z690 DDR5 EATX Motherboard.

Thanks.

I updated the BIOS to the latest version and the drive is now available to boot from but still does not show in Win 11.

I will try doing a Windows install on the drive instead and see if that cures the problem.

It isn't present in disk manager? A quick google shows quick a few common issues with getting them working. The most often one seems to be disabling aspm.

That solved it.

I ran disk manager and initialised the drive, problem sorted.

I have not used disk manager before as I have always formatted/setup disks in other ways.

Thanks guys.:)
