Best 2.1 Speakers?

Hey guys,

After coming into a bit of lovely cash recently, i'd like to splash out on some new 2.1 speakers!

I heard the Razer ones are good, but are there any other contenders?

Aego M 2.1s are pretty good for the money. Getting a bit long in the tooth now but still very good.

Gotta say the Razer Mako do look amazing.

Amazing price tag also though.

Whats your budget adn do they have to be 2.1??? + what soundcard do you have?

From what i hear the Klipsch ProMedias are great, some of the best PC speakers ever made, whether you can find a working 230VAC set though is a different matter.

These are the ones I have, honestly they are absolutely superb. I produce music & master tracks and rely on high end audio equipment - I promise you these are incredibly affordable and will not dissapoint.

Get some proper stereo speakers and a sub will not be needed. PC speakers are poor in comparison

I had a set and didn't like them tbh. Mine had great sound, but no power. Turn up loud and they distort.

another vote for aego m's, although I personally think they're just a tad too high in price now (I got mine for £90 about 1-2 years back)

This, although luckily I bought my UK set over 7 years ago when Klipsch still sold them in the UK. They're absolutely amazing speakers and I dread the day I need to replace them.

If you have the money to blow, go for Bose speakers

But expect to pay £100+ (not inc sub, but you probably wont need it with those) and only certified vendors sell them.

Also got some nice LogitechZ-2300 speakers. They aren't bad but not as good as the Aegos

I have had the Aego M's for a few years now, also got them for about £95 and they are really good.
