Best 24" gaming monitor

What about the Hyundai W241D-PVA 24? I've read it's better than the Dell 2407HC. Plus the BenQ equivilent is supposed to be good.

Now this is the catch. I'm wanting a monitor thats great for Gaming, Movies and Graphics. Got £450 to spend but just don't think I'm going to find one.

you can, e.g. the hyundai, just it's a risk as to whether it works as it should, or if it has dead pixels, ghosting etc.

Yup, and that is too much of a risk for me to take. Think I'll stick with the MUCH cheaper 22" models like the LG L227WT 22". That way if it does break it's not a massive amount to lose.

Looks a great monitor by the way :)

Now why would you want a PVA screen for gaming?

You dont need 2ms times to game. people even claim you cant play competitive with 6ms!

The benq is ment to be an amazing monitor and beats the dell in picture quallity. Ill be getting one. Although i wouldn't get the wz version as the BFI to help motion blur even more dulls the colours a bit and it costs more.

All those TNT pannels seem to suffer from back light bleed, terrible angles, not as good colours though.

If you gona get a decent pc get a decent monitor to boot.

Samsung 24" SynchMaster 245B - top monitor at an unbeatable price in my opinion .... :D 5ms response time also, and that is perfect for gaming, my old LG 1915S's were only 12ms and I had no ghosting with those so I don't see why on earth 2ms is needed for anything ... its pure w***y waving!

Been playing Crysis on 40" Samsung, not going to bother with 24" now :-)
