Best 2TB HDD...?

Won't be used as OS, just file storage, perhaps Steam library. Was considering the Seagate BarraCuda 2TB, but I have read about lots of failures with Seagate drives. But then I read the same for pretty much ANY manufacturer, as obviously people only go online to talk about their drives failing, otherwise they don't even think about it.

The WD Blue 2TB also caught my eye, seems well priced but is only 5400RPM, so seems it may not be the ideal choice for anything requiring faster access.

Any further recommendations? Really didn't want to spend much more than £70-80.

I read some stats a while ago which put Seagate failures well above failures from other manufacturers, but the chance of each individual drive being affected was similarly minute. Any drive can fail. I think Seagates are better now as well. :)

Yes I think Seagate has improved their quality from what I've read, but they were pretty bad for a while there and that certainly damaged their rep.

Also on the lookout for one and saw a seagate 3TB external on the rainforest for £75
if you dont want external then just remove it from the case and pop it in your pc :D

also i think its externals that fail more than internals.. due to overheating
