Hi,

I've seen this Lacie product :

http://reviews.cnet.com/network-storage/lacie-network-space-2/4505-3382_7-33971710.html

But it's not 2TB and the review isn't too great.

Basically I want to put all my media on the drive (as well as backup for everything else) in order to be able to stream to my PS3.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a 2TB wireless NAS ? Oh and whats the best program to use for streaming ? TVersity or other ??

Cheers

Does it have to be a dedicated NAS Box? how much are you looking to spend? You do realise that the HP Microserver is on offer which will total about £121 with cashback, this gives you what ever you want and more than a conventional NAS box will do.

No doesn't have to be a dedicated NAS. I'll have a look at the one you've mentioned. I'm in Australia though so postage might be a tad expensive ;-)

Probably looking to spend up to $400, hard to compare that to the equivalent GBP though as things are more expensive relatively down here.

Can you give me a link to the HP Mediaserver please ? Thanks

EDIT : Just found this in Oz : HP ProLiant N36L MicroServer

Only $250.... but I don't see any mention of it having wireless streaming capability ?

I neglected to mention in my OP that I need it to have wireless capability for streaming to the PS3 !!

EDIT 2 : actually just found that Lacie one, 2TB, for $270.... don't think I can do better than that for the price ?
