Best 49-55 inch TV around £500 - £700?

Managed to pick up a Sony KD-49XG9005 at the weekend as an open box item with full 6 year warranty for £800.

Very impressed so far and quite an upgrade over the LG 43UJ630V it replaced. Always worth a look in a local Richer Sounds you never know what you might find.

Got mine on Friday for £799 from RS - turning up tomorrow hopefully. Shame I don't have room for the 55" version (think it was buttons more) but can't change my room size!

I'm sure the 55" XF90 was £769 on black friday

couldn't be beaten at that price point.

55" LG 2019 Oled for £999 was the star of the show. 65" OLED Being around £1599 again was a good buy.

I'm not sure what's happening but the picture quality seems inferior to the RU8000. Using All 4 and ITV Hub on the firestick and the quality looks awful!

Also how does 4k upscaling work, do I need to turn this on or is it automatic?

Does anyone have a guide on how to calibrate this TV or some recommended settings?
