Best £55 cpu for the money?

Alright guys, kinda lost with all these new budget cpu s !

So damn many to choose from, so ill take the easy option out and ask ;)

What's the best CPU for sub £55 ? and would adding a 3850 Pro 256MB be over kill for it ?

I presume you are on socket 775?
 
e2180 with a p35 chipset MB and Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler (Socket LGA775) for cooler if OCing
 
E2180 seems your best bet for that price tag unless you find something 2nd hand apprently they clock to 3ghz as well.
Is a little review on the famously ocuk banned uk hardware site :o

Get the 2180 with the G31 based Gigabyte board (full ATX), it's good for over 400mhz FSB which would be 4ghz on this CPU (not at all likely on less than water).
 
Recommended heatsink for an E2180? Both cores loaded with Orthos at stock gieves 60C with the stock cooler- pants!

Looking to OC to about 2.5GHz
 
My E4300 is still going strong but I cant seem to see them for sale anymore, when were they discontinued?
