Best 64gb SSD?

Whats the best / most reliable and cost effective 64gb SSD at the moment?

corsair force gt
crucial m4
samsung 830
ocz vertex 4
intel 520

any of those if you want sata3,whatevers the cheapest imo,

there are also sata2 drives but not sure what would be the best atm

Crucial M4 is hard to beat in terms of value and performance. Good RMA service as well if things do go pear shaped

is it for caching? if not you might be better off with a 120gb drive?

Only for my OS and a few programs. Current drive only used up 37gig

You should look at the 120gb/128gb drives, for the current price/gb, the 60/64gb drives aren't worth it. For about £30 more you can get double the space: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-009-CR&groupid=701&catid=2104&subcat=1427

Most certainly the Crucial M4. It's highly recommend on this forum and offers great value/performance.

Yeah 60gb is bit small anyway,I'm running corsair force Gt 60gb and it has 25gb free space but the cost of 128gb isn't much more

It's up to you,for 60gb I'd buy a corsair force Gt,for 120 gb id buy crucial m4 or Samsung 830

The crucial m4 60gb isn't quite fast enough imo,I own a corsair force Gt and its great,also own M4 128gb and that's good too,only read about the Samsung but if they are like there hdd's then its a good choice also,ill post some figures up later for my 60gb

You want an ssd that uses synchronous or toggle nand memory,poorer asynchronous slows down as drive fills up,that memory is on the cheaper corsair and ocz ssd's,toggle is on the Samsung
