Best £700 laptop

3.1Kg, "Upto 2hrs".
So neither then. It's a heavy brick with a hour in it at most.

Alright for £400. I'd rather have a secondhand ThinkPad for the money.

You didn't bother reading this then

Sounds great to me mate. My mate keeps his plugged in most of the time so battery life wasn't an issue. Damn cheap though. Let us know what the one you buy is like as i get many requests to spec laptops.

Also it helps if you have actually Experienced the product before slating it.

I did. It was over a week ago, so shoot me!

I work in IT support for local government. I've seen plenty of HP laptops thanks as we have hundreds of them. I'd far prefer a ThinkPad.

Do I need to state everything I know and have experienced in each post now? Dunno why I bother posting here anymore...

Same as Magic Boy, i have worked with apple, dell, ibm and hp/compaqs. Get the IBM thinkpads. they work, they work well and are very easy to use.

The others all have issues worse thaan IBM, imo. For the apple.... hmm...

if it was 50% off, id recomend one, but to be honest, you would get better speed, power and people who can fix it if you didnt buy an apple.

thats just from experiance on my part. which is all i can go off.

IBM all the way mate, or Dell if you want cheap.
