Best 850w Modular PSU?

Budget around £130.

I seen the Corsair 850w HX at £125.

PSUs seem to be complicated due to manafacturers and brands being different etc. From what I can gather Enermax, Seasonic & Corsair seem to be pretty good PSUs as long as they are manafactured by themselves.

Or the XFX 850W Black Modular. Check out reviews on Jonnyguru.

Best of the best would be a Seasonic X-850, but way outside the budget.

They are just Enermax MODU87+ in a different name.

Hard to track down, they are new on the market. Enermax 'budget' division, seems to be pretty good.

The LEPA sounds awesome, but I'm always very sceptical and it only comes with a 3 year warranty. I've seen a few PSUs with a 7 year warranty before.

Then a Corsair is what you want for the huge warranty they provide.

I can't imagine people not paying the little extra for the extra two years on the Corsair. You would think they would match their warranty or even beat it to get more business.

^ Yeah, just makes you feel more confident about the product anyway if they offer you a warranty like that. If they plan on it lasting for 5 then 7 isn't too big of a step up.

I've seen several reviews of those LEPA G's and they don't look too well thought of.

agree with that, currently own akasa powermax 850w, dual rail tho, so gonna be switching to this

I have the Corsair HX 850W ATX Modular PSU and it's great + on the box of my one it says it comes wiht a 7 year YES 7 year Warranty, and it's been as stable as a rock ,Overclocking an Intel Core i7 980x @ 4.215.5 and 12 GB ram also running two ATI Radeon HD 5850 in Crossfire X
