Just been watching 102 Minutes that Changed America, which is a 9/11 documentary shot entirely from amateur footage and emergency service radio. It's an excellent documentary but it (by design) lacks commentary, interviews, explanations etc. Does anyone have a recommendation for a documentary about the attack that gives the most complete version of events? I'm obviously not looking for the conspiracy type of things, so no loose change etc, but something trustworthy and factual.

Thanks,

MD

It's not going to be quite what you are looking for but 9/11 is a very good documentary about that day. Two French filmmakers were at a nearby fire station shooting a documentary about a rookie firefighter. One of them was with a group of firefighters on their way to invesigate a gas leak. They heard a low flying plane and he turned the camera and recorded the plane hitting the north tower. They were the first responders to the scene and he went with them.

I did see another one that was well done and effectively had a timeline of events with explanations but I can't remember what it was called.

Probably not what you are after but one of the best and most moving Docs ive seen is called 'The Falling Man', basically about a very powerful photo that was taken of a jumper and the search for who he was.

9/11: State of Emergency yer I agree. Was a good one.

Found out things such as they ordered united 93 to be taken out.

I've got one called '24 Hours at Ground Zero' along with '7 Days In September' and 'Americas Rebuilds.'

They all come on one DVD and it's pretty 'good' viewing. Doesn't just cover the event but also the rebuilding etc.
