My model is Model: F7D4401uk Version: v1000.

i need a new adsl 2+ router so I thought of netgear but then i show a lot of bad review then i show Cisco Linksys brand but their website is so confusing i dont know which is cable and which is adsl.

Ok So I found a few models what do you think of these
D-Link DIR-645
Cisco Linksys X3000 Advanced Wireless-N 300Mbps ADSL2+ Router
Buffalo AirStation N-Technology HighPower ADSL2+ Modem Router
which ones is the best out of these three and which one is the best for upgrading the firmware without any issue as I had a big issue with breaking firmware when I upgraded it and know its broke getting slow speeds so I need a router that has a good firmware that wont break the router after I upgrade. so which one is the best from the above list?

The router probably isn't responsible for the slow throughput. Connect it to the BT test socket and post the router stats.

well i have a back up router that works fine its my old net gear and all speeds are fine. I could not believe it when i upgraded it was spouse to make it better instead it made it worse and what's more I am really sad now. with regards to the list above winch is the best router?

I well that is it will take some time to reach my house I contact Belkin for a replacement just waiting for then to get all go otherwise I will go in curry's and buy it I can not wait my speeds are ok but I really need a better back up router. I wish overclockers had a store in glasgow uk :(

Why not buy it online?

Plus the price is way to high for the Billion 7800N £100 wow I was hoping to spend about £50 to £60 for the router if belkin say no but I dont think they will say no but if they say no then i will go with D-Link DIR-645 as i can get it for £60

After updating firmware on the Belkin did you perform a restore to factory defaults? Then manually re-enter all your settings.

Hi what I did was upgrade the firmware then I did was restore my last setting through my config ration file that i saved and No I did not do a restore to factory defaults.
