It went to **** ages ago. Pictures going missing, the mobile app no longer lets you upload pictures, etc. I haven't had issues with popups though. But I have an account and I am always signed in.
Also have 3000 images on there...

I just share images to imgur and it does the rest as normal. doesnt that work for you? I'm so used to using share i never noticed they screwed around with the app. weird.

Imgur's fine for me too with uBlock and I don't have an account with them.
Does anyone know of an anti-adblock killer? I used to have a Greasemonkey script for Violentmonkey which worked for a while but the developers didn't maintain it so it got out of date.

Oh really? I just use it for hosting images to post on here or other forums and it does everything I need.
Now that Imgur has gone to **** and is demanding that you either pay or allow ads in order to upload, what is the best alternative?
Not seeing any of this with uBlock Origin on Firefox...

Well that's how it is with uBlock Origin on both Firefox and Chrome for me.
Why not just unblock ads for imgur? Imgur seems like the least unscrupulous of all of the image hosts and it's really nice to use. I imagine it costs a fortune to run so I have no problem allowing them.

I've whitelisted Imgur, it gives me a fantastic service at no cost without any fluff or rubbish. I've no qualms about letting them run ads and it keeps the frankly excellent Chrome extension working which rehosts any image in two clicks.

Same. Still works a treat. No need to open the app, just share to imgur, then when it's done click copy url
