Hi all

I'm looking to upgrade my storage. I currently use a 2tb SSD for my OS and gaming, plus I have 2x 2tb HDD for storing movies and games I'm not using. I'm going to try and lose my oldest HDD and use the SSD for storing games. But I want an m.2 SSD for my OS and gaming. As prices have dropped I was looking at the 2TB Solidigm P44 Pro SSD, as I like it's speed and it's Gen4 (I have a MSI MPG B550 GAMING EDGE WIFI Motherboard) but as there is a fair difference in price between this around £130 I'm looking at suggestions for similar SSD's as fast but more competitively priced. My pc is used mainly for gaming and I want to future proof it as much as I can.

Thanks for any help provided.

According to NewMaxx's spreadsheet here, it uses 176 layer Hynix TLC and has DRAM, so competing drives could be:
- Crucial P5 Plus, WD SN850X, Kingston KC3000.
- Lexar NM800, MSI M480 Pro.
- Samsung 980 Pro, Seagate Firecuda 530.
