I've just finished putting together a Synology NAS system to store my media files which is currently taking up 11Tb of the 20TB available storage.
As its setup with SHR it has redundancy but I would like to have a decent fall back backup system.
I guess the easiest way would be to just have another 20TB Nas as a mirror but thats eyewateringly expensive.
I currently have about 10TB of storage on spare hard drives lying around the house and was hoping to buy another hard hard and just back up the NAS across these drives - the difficulty is keeping on top of not only new files added to the system but any alterations to existing ones - (Im currently adding ATMOS audio tracks to existing 3D films as they come out on UHD.)
Is there any easy way to do this?
