I prefer the ASOP browser, but am stuck with chrome at the moment. I dislike its' text rendering at differing zoom levels (reddit and forums show it up) the and the lack of full screen is annoying too.
I switch between ICS Browser+ and Firefox. If they merged I would be in heaven. The quick controls are superb whilst the syncing of bookmarks and adblock are great for the other.
I know it's kind of subjective but what is considered the best browser for Android these days? I use boat browser at the moment but I'm sure there must be something better out there these days.
I would use Chrome a lot more if it didn't cause my phone to lock up. Tried numerous roms based on 4, 4.1 and 4.2. After about 20 minutes of use my phone just grinds to a crawl and I end up pulling the battery.
What a brilliant thing - the nightmode alone makes it worth it and I like how it defaults to a minimal fullscreen view. But all the controls are instantly accesible with a single tap to bring down the URL bar or the page-navigation keys. Binned Opera Mobile for this..something I never thought Id do. Well done to the Chinese!!
