The Nexus is due to be released on Friday, whether or not that is to be the case, remains to be seen. And no, it's not an upgrade to the S2, It's this years Google phone (Basically, a Developer phone) It's released to show off the new version of Android, Ice Cream Sandwich.

The Galaxy Nexus. It's a slight camera downgrade from the Galaxy S II (most likely) but the screen is hugely better. The internals are slightly worse as well but there isn't much in it.

There won't be a GS3 until next year I guess, they only release the S2 in the May bank holiday so it will be around the same time.

The beauty of the Nexus is it will have instant updates via google and not having to wait like the others for them to implement it on there phones.

Personally i think it's a tie up between the Samsung galaxy note & Nexus.

The note is a nice bit of kit but is way too big to be a phone. The thing is absolutely humungous. Ok if you're Sultan Kosen i guess. My vote goes to the nexus as i value a better screen over a few extra megapixels on the camera.
