Best Anti-Spyware app for Windows Vista64?

What is the best Anti-Spyware app to use in Windows Vista64? I tried Super Antispyware but that just pops up at boot and gets on my nerves and Ad-Aware-SE just does not work, stops scanning after a certain amount :\

What AV do you have? NOD32 has both AV & Antispyware, so might be worth a look.

Just stop SuperAntispyware from loading at startup, that's what i do. Brilliant Antispyware utility.

I use NOD32 but its just the antivirus one.

I got rid of it now.

No scan? Just protection for IE and Firefox? I use Opera, I need something to scan for spyware on my PC.

Ad-Aware dont work thats why I stoped using it.

I dont trust it, it never find anything whilst Ad-Aware SE when it worked found like 160 things wrong.

Adaware usually finds loads of minor cookies that internet sites use for browsing that's why... rarely anything useful. Did you try configuring Defender more in-depth?

Everything seems to be ticked from what I can see.

Antispyware, its on its own is it? Last time I tried AVG it deleted a lot of stuff so I am abit worried about using AVG, I might give it a try though thanks.

Yup, on its own. If not then all I can suggest is doing some more research and Googling different apps that appear to be 64-bit compatible... that's all i'm doing.

I use Avast AV with Spywareblaster 4 ,Spybot 1.5.2.......I set Windows Defender to do a real scan once a week,with these and my Vista firewall and hardware firewall router never had any problems.

Yes they are all free,AVG,AVAST,AVIRA all have free anti-virus programs for Vista x64,take your pick on choice.

I also forgot to say I keep UAC enabled too,so I have pretty good security.
