Best AntiVirus software?

Currently running AVG, it found a couple of virus's of my old windows installion, the one i couldnt get to boot.

The Sun, Java stuff folders it was in. Told me about them and no option to delete, so i had to find them, delete and re-scan. Not really that good.

Think ill go with Kaspersky when i get round to downloading it then.

Just a couple of points:

Don't trust any Top Ten Reviews, they are just marketting articles.

Bullguard uses the Bitdefender engine, which is a good thing because Bitdefender is a very good antivirus product. :)

It also uses a version the Sygate Firewall engine as well, so some pretty good stuff for a relativly cheap price.

I would be interested in a download link so that I can try it out, I have searched the site but can't find it, any chance?

From my understanding the road for kav6 testing is finished and the final product will be released very soon after its been to marketing.

I couldn't find the beta for download where ever it is. Maybe its removed due to it being in its final.

I've found NOD32 to be the best AV around that I've used. Purchasing a single year is the most expensive (per yr) @ £27 but if you buy two or three years in one go, it works out to be £20 and £18 respectively.
