Best apps to transfer from android to android phone?

Hi,

I have just bought a new phone but I don't really have a good idea which are the best apps for transferring my files/settings from one phone to another. If it changes anything both phones are not rooted.

If your using google to back up stuff once you sign in to google it should retain all your settings and re-download all your apps.You can get an app to save text messages and reinstall them and whatapp can back up from the app.

If one of them's a Samsung then Smart Switch is a useful tool as it can back up messages, multimedia (images, music, video, documents etc) from both the phone and MicroSD card as well as Apps and settings

Smart switch did it for me, S5 to S8.
