Best Backup solution?

Hi Everyone,

Just wondering how you backup your data? I have always gone through my laptop and written down the programs I have installed and then just copied my music etc... onto an external HDD, seems to take a long time to download and copy everything back after the fresh windows install, so I wondered if there is a better, more efficient way to do so?

I did do a quick search but didn't find much, so I thought I would start a thread

If you want a full image of the C drive that can be restored then Macrium Reflect Free will work nicely.

Personally I use the built-in utility in windows vista onwards. Works well I think. In fact I had to restore this week as my data drive failed

Never got Trueimage to work correctly, I use Macrium Reflect as well.
