am i rite??/

Only if it were the last bottle of beer left on earth, all others having been destroyed by nuclear war.

On another note, head is essential for some beers, as they are designed to tasted different when lots of air bubbles are in them, leffe, hoegarden, staropramen etc.
Infact some times beers arent meant to be drank unless they accompany foods suprisingly.
Salty crisps make stella taste sweeter, and chocolate make leffe and other hoppy beers taste less yeasty.

A few of my favourites:

Pilsner Urquell. (Not a patch on a draught pint in Prague, mind you)
Old Tom
Leffe (Either)
Anything from the Wooden Hand Brewery (Though the Mutiny is special)

Youngs double chocolate is good to.

I am embarking on a trip around the world in beer, me and a friend have decided to taste the offerings of as many beers/lager beers as possible tonight we have got through 4 locations care of tesco. holland, denmark, brasil and usa/canada?

here are what we had tonight, 2 of each was consumed.

(all are tasted for the first time)starting left to right, the miller to me tasted as i would imagine licking a wet stray dog would taste, not atall pleasent to me and a let down in all hounesty.
the tuborg was nice, had its own flavour though you could tell it was a pilsner (wich i later found out was brewed in the carlsberg brewery :D)
bavaria was a nice tickle, though to me had a very hops taste to it though if you like this i would imagine its rite up your street, i wouldnt turn a pint away but it wouldnt be my first choice!
brahma is last on the list and by far my favourite, its a nice drink with a very rich flavour, doesnt taste to heavy either which is why i like it so much id rank it with budweiser and san miguel, though an ice cold miguel would come out on top no doubt.

if your intrested ill call back tommorow and its the biggy for the weekend we intend to do 8 differerant ones from tesco, 2 of each 16 bottles in totle and i dont drink anything but bottles at home now, a much crisper cleaner taste than horrible tinny cans.

my bf tried the banana beer as I bought it for him for a laugh but said it was foul! I tried a little but the smell was so disgusting. never again!

Budweiser (not the American wee) or Staropramen. Whilst I like ales, not a fan of bottled ones.

Rather concerned that there are multiple mentions of Corona, Fosters and even A&B's "Budweiser" etc. is there really so little taste in this country? :(

Stella is Belgian.
used to be belgian now swill. Afflighem. Orval, duvel, leffe, chimay just by looking at my fridge are all better.

Ok then there's grimbergen, kasteel as well.

I have a group of UK friends who meet once a month in a belgian bar we are onto month 6 and haven't drunk the same beer twice.

:D

if it's under 5% it doesn't count.... pretty much rules out most UK lagers hehe
