I was buying a pint, and the girl serving me said Budweiser or Carlsberg is the best to drink because it isnt full of as much chemicals as Tennants or Stella. How true is this?

Also what is your preference? (edit: not restricted to the ones I have mentioned )

Burly out :)

Stella is the worst lager out there, but is only slightly worse than Carlsberg. No idea what Tennants is like.

Pretty much all lagers are choc-full of chems though.

Budweiser is pish, it has a soapy water taste to it. Stella is gash too. Get some black treacle, then add 5% alcohol, that's a proper drink! :D

In pubs/bars I'll usually drink Kronenbourg if I'm drinking pints or Corona if I'm drinking bottles. Have to drink Grolsch at my college bar though, it's the best thing they have on tap :(

Other than that I like Erdinger, Weihenstephan and lots of other weissbiers, and Kozel, Budweiser Budvar, Sam Adams and lots of other lagers.

Never really got into the whole real ale thing, I probably should.

Budweiser from tap is lush :) but not many bars have it around here.. Fosters being my second choice.

its always 'berg down ere.... sometimes export... sometimes stella (which i use to HATE) but now its grown on me... one of the more quality beers out there

some nice ales out there to...

You said "lush" - I hate you forever.

C'mon folks, it's lager we're talking about here. If it's cold, wet and fizzy you'll drink it.
