Best BF2 mod?

I've just discovered the outstanding AIX mod for BF2 and cant quite believe its free. Can anyone recommend any other BF2 mods that are worth downloading?
 
point of existance 2.

I dont like project reality, its to slow and stuff. If you want realism go play America's Army or Armed Assault.

Awaits to be flamed :)
 
You just can't beat Vanilla IO but others have found Project reality more to there liking. Not me though, Nothing compares to vanilla IO.
 
I much preferred Project Reality to vanilla myself. Point of Existence 2 and Forgotten Hope 2 are two other noteworthy mods worth a download too.

From someone who has two accounts one being a 3 star & the other being around the 40k mark & Only plays on the lower ranked account i beg to differ.
I find that people on Vanilla IO are only interested in Full on war battles & don't give two ***** about stats.
Stat whores were left back in 06 mate it's 08 now & BF2 is just full of Genuine players, damn good players as well, Nobody cares about stats any more.
One thing i do like though is when Clan players invite people on to there servers to play on there own against the inviter & his clan, Proper fair fight that a, You with clan & teamspeak & matey on his own with nowt :rolleyes:
I **** clans & know them to be a bunch of weak players who can only play in a gang on there own server with TS as an aid.
I will admit that there will be some Highly skilled players in every clan & i will also say that most of the rest of the clan hide behind them :p
I've lost count of how many clan servers i have turned over & must admit to it being a past time of mine. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than going on a clan server & turning the public team into the winning team.
As soon as you do this the clan drift away leaving the server all of a sudden having other things to do :p
Me tea bagging multiple clan members makes the whole process hugely funny for me & my public squad.
Of course i get kicked a lot & banned as well but that is just proof that they cannot beat me & are as weak as i thought.

So in all my experience who do i think are stat padders, ***** clan members that's who as they have the mates the team speak & the server to do it on. even if not stat padding the clans organise the teams so that it is a one sided clan battle against public, In my mind Equally as bad.
Like i said Clans I ****'em.
 
Project reality probably gets the best mod vote for me, however I've just been getting into forgotten hope 2. For anyone who isn't aware, it's a WWII mod. Apart from a few boring desert maps it's actually an amazing game.

Project Reality all the way for me, I just can't play vanilla anymore after that. Forgotten Hope 2 isn't bad either if you're after WWII setting.
