Best bluetooth comms setup?

France have ban them?! They have some odd road laws over there.

20S battery is very good. Me an my brother were doing a good 200+ miles a day last week in Scotland and only had to charge them twice over the 7 days. Pretty impressive. Charge time is also good, think they took about an hour and a half plugged in to my bike to charge.

I'm so impressed with them. Still not cheap, but worth it IMO, makes a trip riding with someone else so much more entertaining.

Interphone F5, wouldn't ever touch again, 5 of us bought them, within 18 months 3 had broken and Interphone don't want to know. Disgusting service to all of us.

We all upgraded to Sena 10r's a year and a bit ago and been spot on. The range isn't quite as good, but the sound quality is a lot better. They're all still running even been soaked and soaked again on tours etc.

You have to take the quaoted distances with a pinch of salt though, this is a perfect straight road... all within sight of each other etc etc. Which lets be honest on a tour doesn't happen. So, sometimes we lost signal, but then it auto reconnects etc.

Personally I'm happy with the Sena, reliable, connects nicely and interacts with sat nav and phone nicely, easy to use, the only downside is it's range is around 10-20% less than the Intercom F5 was... but bar that, fine. We're off to Spain again with them in September.

Regarding the French thing, they'd find it 99.9% impossibly to prove you were

a). Using themonce you'd took lid off
b). You could be using them as in ear plugs and not to listen to anything.

As for the Sena I got the adaptor to use my own buds and will be criss crossing the Pyranese this year with Spain so the French can go do one.
