I've been away from building pcs for a few years now especially budget ones, can anyone name me a decent branded psu from what I remember, Seasonic, EVGA, XFX and corsair make good ones, I just need a power supply that'll run a
core i5-650 and a radeon 5770 as my cousins pc has died due to power supply. if anyone could also link me to one? cheaper the better :)

Firstly, how cheap is cheap for you?

These PSU's are quite cheap, come from a very well regarded brand (with a 5 year warranty) and have 80 plus gold efficiency. But, if your cousin intends to upgrade his PC soon then he might want a bit more wattage.

I would stick with EVGA/Seasonic/Superflower/Corsair for the most part. Other company's make (or rather rebrand) good PSU's aswell, but the 4 I listed are for the most part consistently good.

Seasonic and Corsair are pretty good.

I have a 450w corsair and it can work stable at 570w with 81% effeciency , it is a seasonic underneath with Japanese capacitors
