Best cable deal?

Fed up of only having freeview at the moment.

At the moment, we're paying.. phone (BT, free calls after 6 and weekends -£20), internet (Pipex, 1meg, don't think we're capped as I download a lot.. £23) then another £5 for calls on top... so about £50 a month.

What's the best deal? Ideally want to stay uncapped, but would like slightly faster internet... and maybe the basic digital channels (SKY or NTL?)

Don't want to be paying ANY more than we are at present... and would still like free calls after 6 :s ... don't mind if it doesnt' include digital.. but if theres any decent packages going at the mo?

2mb unlimited (not sure what the AUP states as we all know how misleading unlimited can be, but im not an OTT heavy user..)

Weekend & after 6 calls free...

100 base channels

39.99 a month, seem OK ?

I used to have NTL, so no installation is required - just wondering if theres anything better tbh.

They don't seem as good as the NTL offers tbh! I think we need talk unlimited, so we get free weekend and evening calls otherwise we'l end up going over on the phone side of things.

You are aware that NTL and Telewest are one and the same, and you'll only be able to get one or the other's deals?

Yeah, I knew they had merged... just presumed you'd have a selection of the two

... guess theres telewest & ntl areas then....I'l go check what im in :O

Edit :: NTL... guess that's for the best then considering the TW deals suck in comparison !
