I've always liked red cars but you don't seem to see many red cars on the road, is this because the sun turns them pink eventually or is it just not a very popular colour?
Totally depends on the car. Everyone wants metallic paint or silver so plain colours like red aren't as popular. They don't pink if looked after properly and aren't Vauxhalls.
Well no but the way the paint is finished is different so you will see a lot of red faded Vauxhalls. I think VX still do it the old fashioned way as opposed to base coat and lacqer. I think thats why anyway but if you want a simple answer then yes, it is different.
Looks good when it's clean. My old Astra was metallic blue which looked pretty good generally (as good as an Astra can), the dirt wasn't *too* obvious either. My punto before that was red, which I wasn't too fond of.
I think the best colours are black, white or something metallic.
