The 79xx series have really dropped down in the past 2 months I doubt they will drop anymore. £250 for a 7950 is crazy cheap.

5850 and 6950 were the last 2 generations equivalent of the 7950, and they dropped much closer to £200, so I'd hardly call current 7950 prices crazy cheap.

This generation has been priced significantly higher, so hard to say how much further they'll drop.

True, but the 7950 is better than the 6950 relative to its competition, so it's not a like-for-like comparison. The 6950 was really a weaker card than the 570, 580 and was about even with the 560Ti. The 7950 is better than the 660Ti, 670 and, in some instances and when overclocked, the 680.

AMD really impoved this generation, all-round.
