Best case for £50

But for the same money if you do not need the PSU then you can get much better, unless you have used a PC7+ for that money, you will not understand how far superior it is to every other budget case, just on the build quality front.

I do like the idea of the high build quality of the LL PC7+ but something keeps drawing me to the TT Soprano, I really do like the design of it and the reviews on the net seem to be mostly positive, I was waiting for the Thursday night specials, but not a case in sight.

Agressive,

The soprano is really bad, I saw it in a shop and its plastic, flimsy and really bad looking. No pictures do the Lian Li PC7+ b justice, you have to see it in real life to appriciate it.

The PC7+ also holds its value well too.

Good luck.

The Soprano is not that bad, but you just cannot compare it to the PC7 really.

In the end cases are a personal thing, and if you want a Soprano Agressive, then get a Soprano :)

Its a shame I cant see them both up close first and have a look around the insides, I know there is a big Lian-Li fan base about and that must be for a reason but I just find they look horrible, maybe I need to see 1 up close to change my mind. :)

Well the user base is probably due to me :p, at least on this forum ;)

I have yet to have anyone be dissapointed by a Lian Li. The same cannot be said about any other manufacturer I have recommended to people.

Lian Li's look a awful lot better in the flesh.

after my pc7+ arriving today thx to the recomendations of yewen its lovley and there right in what they say looks so much better in the flash even the little carbon strip on the top so much better then the picture

Thats all that needs to be said, you asked for the best, there it is, no arguing.

If you change what you want it may not be, but that is the best all round case by a mile for the £50 mark.

Another vote for the coolermaster 530 here mate.

Things I have done so far is to remove the drive cage (removeable) and bungee cord my HDD in one of the spare drive bays, also removed all of the internal drive blanking plates.

Fitted 120 ambers on front and back and I''m a happy bunny.

Add to this the whole front panel being meshed, nice cool temps :)

I would suggest removing the honeycomb metal on the front and back before fitting everything as I forgot and now cant be assed to strip everything out.

The pci retention clips seem very strong, more than capable.

Also the top 2 front drive bays are stealthed, which im not usually a fan of, but the ones here work so well, adjustable doodah to make sure its in the most approapriate place for your optical drives eject button. The mechanism also seems nice and stiff, so no flappyness here.

Looks more expensive than it is :)

Think I paid about 40inc for mine

Well I recieved my Soprano this morning :) I really apprciate the help and there was a lot of votes for the pc7+ but after reading about 20 reviews on each case, I picked the Soprano.

Its a brillaint little case and the plastic front doesnt bother me in the slightest, the only bad thing is the cluster of usb/firewire in the roof of the case, to say it was a mission to get my enermax in was an understatement. :)

The tool-less design is a major plus point in my opinion, all hard drives and opticals were in the case in about a minute, also the build quality is reasonably high, the motherboard stand-offs lined up perfectly which was a bonus as I have had cases from antec/enermax and the standoffs have been inaccurate.

Cooling is very good, the 2x120's really do move some air, the other thing I liked is the use of keys to open things on the case, saves the old girl getting on the comp too often. :)

Anyway its defantly a thumbs up from me on the case and I give it a mark of 8/10.
