Hello all, I've done my research (including searches on here) but thought it might be worth starting a thread in case anyone's spotted any better deals than me!
I'm after a SIM-only data plan for my iPad which is basically as cheap as possible. It will probably get used only 3-4 days a month for fairly light usage (email, browsing, note syncing, Dropbox, some remote server admin etc.) so I'm sure something as low as a 1GB monthly limit would be fine.
The cheapest contract I've seen is £7.50 per month from Three - that's 1GB allowance and a micro-SIM. This seems rather expensive compared to my 50GB allowance ADSL for £25 per month but never mind
However, I was wondering if anyone uses PAYG on an iPad, and if so how that works. Do you have to 'load it up' with data allowances in advance, or will it automatically charge you as you start using data? I'm not a huge fan of the former but the latter would be fine.
All thoughts and findings and stuff welcome
Cheers.
