Am currently running Xspc X20 dual Bayress res and pump combo (cpu and gpu cooled)
BUT find the thing too noisy for me - I can hear it
Have decided to upgrade the pump/res combo and to add a 2nd gpu. - I have bought an extra rad etc.
Am torn between:-
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-140-XS&groupid=962&catid=2133&subcat=1845 - main plus - fits where the existing unit is so little new tubing etc needed (except for new rad and gpu, of course) - and main minus/concern - will it be as noisy/noisier than the existing, as so far as I can see I cannot fit any padding round to assist in silencing the d... thing (same prob as the x20)
or
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-006-TL&groupid=962&catid=2141&subcat=2145 - as this would be mounted inside and will not be easily visible I can ensure that the appropriate padding is in place , thereby ,hopefully, ensuring silence - but maintenance will not be as easy nor will it be as easy to check levels etc and it only comes with the 100/140 res whereas the xspc has 300.(if the latter makes any difference!)
If I could be sure that the noise level would be acceptable I would stick with the xspc but I'm just not sure!!
Views on either - be it performance (is one better than the other?) or noise level - much appreciated.
