Best codec pack?

Having trouble with K-lite codec pack, can't play videos in full screen because when I do they go really choppy and make this awful crackling sound so I un-installed the pack and now I need another pack so I can play my videos again. Any suggestions?

dont use codec packs

use ffdshow

I use the Combined Community Code pack, never come across anything i cant play yet.

another vote for cccp-project, it was designed for helping users who watch anime but contains every necessary playback codec you will ever need.

CCCP is definitely the best I've found.

Also have VLC installed so you can check if it's a codec error or an error with the file itself - invaluable.

dont use a pack just install a codec as you need it, by default i install xvid and then use gspot to find a codec if i cant play a file
