Best CPU upgrade to my aging system.

Hi guys, just an update on this. Got a Q6600 off the bay for £70. SOld my E5200 as well so didnt cost me much at all in the end. Just installed the new CPU and I must say its a great improvement over the old one. Really happy with it, thanks for the advice everyone.


hmmm now just wether to overclock or not :D


Got it running completly standard at the moment, its fitted with just a freezer pro heatsink. temps are sat at 42-44.

Can anyone point help me with what changes to make for a simple effective overclock. Motherboard is a P5QL PRO
