Hi all,

Can you recommend me some dance albums? I just bought Ministry of Sound 2006 which is pretty good. Any others you would recommend?

Gatecrasher classics Vol.2 is a good compilation. I also like the original Trance Nation from '99 (mixed by Ferry Corsten), but some might see that as a bit cheesy.

As for individual artists, Vincent de Moor's greatest hits is pretty solid.

Cream Ibiza 2006 - Eddie Halliwell
Marco V - 200V
Clubbers Guide 2006
Subliminal Session - Eric Morillo
VA - Ministry Funky House Sessions 06

those are the ones im playing atm

Compilation wise I'd say the recent Classic Euphoria CD is pretty good.

Artist wise I'm enjoying Above & Beyond - Tri-State

Also worthy of a mention is Altern8 - Full on.. Mask Hysteria (although it's some 14 years old, classic blippy rave tunes).

Sasha & Digweed - Northern Exposure Series, Ren 1, Communicate
Sasha - GU Ibiza and San Francisco
Digweed - GU Hong Kong & Sydney; Bedrock 1
Fabric - Hipp-e & Halo
Fabric - Tyrant
Fabric - Craig Richards
Fabric - Terry Francis
Nite Life - H-Foundation

virgin are doing buy one get one frees on all the fabric discs at the moment if anyones intrested

daft punk - homework is blatantly going to get my vote for best though :p :o

Chemical Brothers: Surrender. Probably in the minority with this one. It's a classic album, but most people prefer their first two offerings (which are also well worth a look in).

Andy C: Nightlife 1- 3. Every good dance collection needs some good ole' drum n bass (the more the better really!).

Squarpusher: Big Loda. Classic from start to finish. In fact, just get all the Squarepusher stuff that you can. The man is the defenition of genius.

Daft Punk: Homework is a must, as is Human After All.

Orbital: Orbital 2.

Yep, CD1 rocks, been listening to it lots the past few days. CD2 is great as well but i can fully understand why some people find it a bit hard for listening at home. Definately gets my recommendation
