Best Defrag software...

Any reviews of defrag software? What seems to be the best these days?

JKDefrag + GUI.

Used to use PerfectDisk but this is a lot better.

I use Defraggler these days. It's from the folks who make Ccleaner, and does what it says on the tin. It's fast too

Probably due to value for money, as JKDefrag is free.

ive always used diskeeper, i think the defrag software you get with XP is just a stripped down version of diskeeper actually???

Much, much faster and seems to do a better job as well.

I assume that all of the above will work with Vista 64?
It would be nice to see some comparison reviews...but I suppose that it would not be considered to be a 'worthwhile' thing to do...

Ultimate Defrag 2008 works fine in x64 vista variants, Runs through x86 though but works fine

SOLD! Thanks for that, been looking for an alternative to Vista's (takes hours).

On XP Machines I use O&ODeFrag v8.6

On Vista Machines however, I would not recommend it, as its just too bloody slow - especially v10, it takes yonks just to gather the Disks info and if like me you have lots of disks and lots of partitions, it can be over half an hour just for it to start the process off!!!

v8.6 is the best compromise ( For me ) to work with Vista and XP in both 32 and 64 Bit flavours.
