Walk Of Life ;)

Money For Nothing
Brothers In Arms
Your Latest Trick
Why Worry

of course it depends on my mood but I rate "Your Latest trick as my overall favourite".

If anybody mentions Walk Of Life I'm asking for the thread to be closed.
Worryingly that's my dad and sister's favourite. For me it's Brothers In Arms or Why Worry (despite the latter being about 2 minutes longer than it needs to be imho)

Definitely Telegraph Road - 14 minutes of genius.

Agreed. It's not top on my Last FM plays for Dire Straits song (my Last FM profile is "slightly" Dire Straits biased!) but it's an incredible song. In fact, the songs that do "beat" it on my overall top listened to tracks are Romeo & Juliet (#1), Walk of Life (#2 :p) and Your Latest Trick.

Sultans of Swing is amazing live, the longer versions (~15 mins) are genius, with extended guitar solos and duets between guitar/sax and guitar/keyboard. Romeo and Juliet is fantastic live as well.

Pretty much all of their first album (self titled) are all classics too. MK = God :p

I love 'em all.. but I also like the song they did at Knebworth in 1990, called "I Think I Love You Too Much" .. with EC. It never appeared on an official DS studio album.
