Im just building my new PC.But im unsure what to do about the drives.
I have 2 74 GB Raptors, and a 320 GB 7200.11.
I had intended to Raid 0 the raptors for Vista and games. And the 7200.11 as media drive etc.
But ive read a lot about the new tech drives being pretty much as fast as the old raptors (which mine are)
Also the stripe size of the raid doesnt seem to benefit OS and Games. Either way is a trade off, faster games, slower OS, or vice versa.
So now im unsure wheter to bother with the raptors. Maybe just have everything on the 7200.11 on partitions.
Am i losing performance by not using the raptors ?
Is it worth having just 1 raptor for vista non raid. And games etc on the 7200.11 ?
