Best ear plugs/something similar?

I think i'll need some too at some point.

However, I can still hear with foam ear plugs on. I can hear the actual ear plug and breathing etc, is this still the same with more expensive/custom ones?

See a GP and see if they can refer you to a specialist or speak to them about having custom fit ones being made up?

noise cancelling headphones are great on dulling speech.

We use earplugs in work that are like memory foam which work really well. I work nights so I have slept with a fan blowing onto my face for years, the noise of the blades spinning and the breeze blowing across my face blocks all other noises out.
