I have a Beyerdynamic MMX 300 headset that plugs into a Xonar AE soundcard via 3.5mm jack.
I bought this new gear as i was only using these trashy surround sound hardware/software headsets and i wasn't able to pin point footsteps and gunshots correctly. But now with this new gear i know where to look and hear sound directions perfectly.
Only problem is the overall sound balance and EQ is off. I've been using the Sonic Studio 3 to change bass and trebble settings etc but everything sounds too low. When i turn the volume up i can hear the atmosphere and life of the game better but then gunshots and explosions are like 500% to loud haha.
I miss dolby atmos because it made my games sound beautiful but it also ruined to positional sound. So i don't know what to do right now!
I tried to google best sound setups and EQ for gaming with my headset but i don't even know if i should be using a better EQ app/mixer?
Can anyone offer some advice please?
