Hi, im looking for the best value-for-money external hard-drive, I would like plenty of storage space eg. 200-400gb

i got my step bro one of the western digital ones the 320 looks very nice and works well i couldnt believe how quiet it was tbh.

i mite even get one of those
 
The best and cheapest way to get an external HD is to build it yourself!
Pre-built external HD's come with crippled warranty’s, max 2-3years most are 1year.

If you buy a 7200.10 and a external case (cheap of ebay) then your external HD will have a 5year warranty :D It also works out cheaper and you can put the best/fastest HD into the case.
