Best Fan 120mm?

AC Fan 12PWM - it even allows full PWM control just like a proper CPU fan should have!

The Noctua is very good as a case fan but not so good when attached to a heatsink, something to do with flow resistance? Scythe S-Flex for the heatsink.

Zalman F T W ! LOL!

Seriously, I purchased one of the Zalman 120mm to test it, and found with the resistor cable supplied it was silent! Without it, its what I would call a blower - not too bad noise wise, but blows a heck of a lot of air!

I was impressed enough, I've just purchased 5 more for my case and new W/C setup.

What is the quietest 120mm fan i couls put on my SI-120? I am looking for a quiet onw as the current one is just too loud, even after reducing the speed of it!!

I was just gonna ask the same question. I have an SI-120, and at the moment I am using an Vantec Stealth fan 120mm, but it just doesn't cut the mustard anymore, its very quiet, but I don't think it does that good of a job.

So I am in the market for a new fan, the Zalman has taken my eye at the moment, but just checking the others out as well :)

any decent place around in the UK you can actually find AC fans? Any particular reason why OCUK doesnt stock them? The 12PWM and AF12025 PWM (for intake) look particularly good, and are pretty cheap

within the rules overclockers are meant to stock them - but dont?

Noctua fans will be in stock tomorrow and Arctic fans today (both will be on the website by the end of the day). The PWM versions are not available in the UK for a little while longer.

If Yate Loon was priced the same in this country as the rest of the world then they would give the best air to noise ratio for the money but like everything else
we get stung. In the states they pay like $3 and i've even seen online shops selling them on $1.50 specials but in the UK they start at £7.

:(
