I have just had my second Corsair H150i Elite fail on me, so have pulled it out, and put a Peerless Assassin 140 onto my 5800x, my only issue is that now I have 3 RGB case fans running from a Corsair Commander Core, and the CPU cooler (both fans) are running directly from the MoBo.

What the best route here, and what is the best fan control software, I don't want to touch the Asus Armoury Crate software that I can get for my Mobo (Asus X570-P).

Another vote for FanControl here.

Great little tool, takes a little time to get everything set up properly but an excellent piece of software.

Just to clarify, I'm not using Armoury Crate, heard to much negative about it.

I've tried fan Control, but it doesn't see the fans on the Commander Core, and iCue Doesn't see the fans from the MotherBoard.

I guess I could move the two MoBo connected fans to the Commander Core, and then just use iCue.

This came up recently, commander icue doesn't work with speedfan. But there is a add on for speedfan to work on github

Fancotrol keeps coming up as a virus by msd

Which version are you running? There was a vulnerability in some of the earlier versions, it’s possible there’s a vulnerable module installed still?

I've gone with a couple of fan extensions to tie the two fans into iCue, as I have a few other Corsair peripherals, I'm not getting rid of iCue anytime soon so it was the obvious path. (well it was when I thought about it). I did like Fan Control when I tried it but unless it is controlling all of them like iCue will do, then I didn't see the point about a second program for the same job.

Thanks for helping me see the wood from the tree's.

Does fan control work with the arctic freezer 3? I currently do it via BIOS.

I use Aquasuite myself, as I have several of their control modules.
All 12 of my fans go through an Octo board controlled by Aquasuite, and you can use any combination of sensors or system stats that HWInfo can see to drive the behaviour.
