Hi peeps,

Im looking at getting a new fan controller for my shiny new lian li s80b case, im hoping something will fit (due to the swing door)!

Now i already have the mcubed tbalancer - and i believe it to be a pile of steaming horse dung, although some people rave about them? I have decided against using it on my new build. Soon to go into the members market - in another 200 odd posts time!

Im looking at controling the north bridge fan so ill need some sort of 2pin - 3pin adaptor. 3x 120mm fans. 3x80mm fans and thats it. I dont really need them all individually controlled - but if its possible then ok...

I have a coolermaster musketeer and too be honest its very good for the price, however i feel it is a limiting factor with that many fans on the go!

I realise this is a bit of a long thread but im looking for some great OcUK advice. Price wise im easy(ish) but i would like a silent system for the end result!!!

Just got to find a wrapper for the damn 7200.10 drive now ! NOOIIISSSSYYYYY - my maxtor 10 was quieter! Crazy.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated - what are other members using ???

im currently using an akasa pro fan control with 4 fan cable splitters so im controling 8 fans, this is a great fan controller for the price, not sure what u can do with the northbridge fan though maybee change the fan as there arnt any adapters that let you control rpm

Aerocool Gatewatch.... Its huge, but dam it looks good, takes up 2 5 1/2"drive bays due to the massive LCD, wouldn't be without it now, it does everything i could think for a fan controller to do! Has a volume control knob that sticks out but only a little and shouldn't be a problem as i have a door on the front of my rig too :)

Probably too late but bow about a Coolermaster EUDEMON? It controls 3 channels automatically depending on temps of the channel sensor.

I bought a tbalancer !

Not overly impressed, most of the fan controllers are pants and i can set my motherboard to do pretty much the same thing! In the end ive just plumped for the 7v cable option (£4)
