Best fan / system cooling monitoring program?

just wanting to know what is recommended on here for the best software, to keep an eye on the temps and fan control etc..

thanks @ChrisD. I was just thinking of it because my "run around" is a 2017 MBP and its on Intel and so does get quite warm, but as I believe its a standard thing, that running hot is the norm and won't affect anything?

Am I right inn saying if there was an issue via temps, the MB would just reboot, our shutdown or whatever to save itself??
 
Macs Fan Control is the one to use, smcfancontrol is old and doesn't support newer Macs (yes, I know, this is for your older MBP).

But as said above, you really don't need to do anything.

For temps, etc use Stats, it's free and open source:
