Best fans in reasonable price range?

Just looked up the typhoons. How many would I need? I found one for £18 but only one is supplied.

First build btw, bit of a noob :D

Probably need 20 off them.

Just get some glue and stick them all over will keep it nice and cool

ha ha only messing

need to to tell us what your using them for.

What case you have. Full system spec would help

I always thought gentle typhoons were pricey, but they are damn good fans. Akasa Vipers and apaches are very decent but if you can bare the noise Scythe Kaze Jyuni's come in 1200 or 1900 rpm.

Are the fans for a cooler or just case airflow?

Case = Bitfenix Shinobi

Full spec

GTX 560 Ti
Corsair 4GB XMS3 RAM
Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD4 mobo
Corsair Professional Series HX850W Power supply
Intel Core i5 Sandybridge
Titan Fenrir Evo CPU Cooler
Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB

Hope that helps :D

BTW, the fans are just for air flow so far. The case is only a mid tower so I want to make sure that components don't get fried with high temps so I want to have quality fans.

Cheap go for the z3 at 4 quid odd.

Mid - Apache

Best - gt1450 or gt1850

I've always had Apache but loving my new gt1450.

Not that I have any, but the Zaward ones get good reviews and they are only a fiver.

I have a mixed bag of Fractal Design 140mm, Xilence Rd Wing 120 mm and soon to have an Antec TrueQuiet 140mm as well.

So, how many will I need? I really like the look of the typhoons.

- Front Cooling: 2 x 120mm Fans (optional)
- Rear Cooling: 1 x 120mm Fan (included) or 1 x 92mm Fan (optional)
- Top Cooling: 2 x 140mm Fans (optional) or 2 x 120mm Fans (optional)
- Bottom Cooling: 1 x 120mm Fan (optional)

6 in total

:O

What could I do to save money? I wouldn't want to spend much more than £45. So, 2 typhoons would cost me £36, I'd have around £9 left to get a few more.

6 typhoons would cost me £108, which is obviously way too much.

Suggestions??? Do you actually need 6 fans in that?

Cheers, will get 2 of them. Where do you recommend I put the Typhoons? Where will they be most effective?

Recommendations for good affordable 140mm fans? Or should I just stick to 6 120mm fans?
